Happy Mom's Day

I'm away from The Soprano State for a couple of days to spend time with one of my best friends, who also happens to be my mom. With sparklng blue eyes, a killer sense of humor and a sincere desire to make this world a better place, she's a kick to be around. Here's to moms everywhere and to those of us fortunate enough to be able to spend time with them.

Attention all children and husbands: It's Mother's Day, and Home Depot is having a sale on Weedwhackers. Get the mom in your life today and make her feel worthwhile!

To all the very special moms out there holding their beloved child's picture close to their heart today, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I guess everyone who's celebrating Mothers' Day today was pro-life at one time?

And if you had or have a mother, thank her for being so.

A very Happy Mother's Day. My toast tonight went something like " Thnaks, for we would not be here without you. It's not about all the infant/baby stuff where you looked after every need and comfort. It is about your involvement later in life. You stood by us, corrected our paths and remained true friends to this moment. The tribute is that we will tell our children [my brother & I] that we raised you in the same tradition as we were and all that springs from your wonderful Grandmother. Cheers."

Best.
